Arief brings extensive expertise from the financial-services and corporate sectors to his role. He has been a key member of AMMAN’s executive team for more than eight years, previously serving as Director of Finance where he played an instrumental role in shaping AMMAN’s financial strategy and corporate transformation.
Prior to joining AMMAN, he served as the Managing Director and Board Member of Rajawali Corpora, an Indonesian conglomerate with diverse investments spanning mining, palm oil plantations, luxury hotels and properties, transportation, infrastructure and media. During his tenure, Arief held key roles on various committees including Finance and Investment, Ethics, Audit, and Risk Management, as well as the Management Board.
He led Goldman Sachs’ investment banking operations in Southeast Asia. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in finance and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude), and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He was appointed as President Director of AMMAN in June 2025.
Aditya brings over a decade of experience in consulting and banking. He has advised clients across industries such as mining, logistics, utilities, plantations, telecommunications, manufacturing, and banking. His areas of expertise include business planning, financial modeling, valuation, market entry strategy, due diligence, transaction advisory, credit analysis, and relationship management.
Since joining PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), a subsidiary of AMMAN, in 2017 as Deputy Director, and subsequently being appointed Director in 2020, Aditya has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s core support functions. His responsibilities have included overseeing procurement, port and logistics, inventory and warehousing, as well as co-leading internal audit. He also previously led corporate communications and information technology, where he contributed to the successful execution of AMMAN’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation.
Aditya earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Suffolk University, Boston, and a Certificate of Special Studies in Finance and Control from Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge. He assumed the role of Director at AMMAN in June 2025.
Anthony R. Mathias, Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk, is a senior finance leader with more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, spanning corporate finance, performance management, and finance systems integration across Asia, North America, and Europe. Prior to joining AMMAN, he served as Director and Chief Financial Officer of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk.
Before Medco, he was Vice President, Finance & IT at Premier Oil in Jakarta. Earlier in his career, he held a series of progressively senior finance roles at ConocoPhillips across multiple geographies, including leadership positions in finance operations, performance analysis, and finance systems integration. He began his career in Price Waterhouse.
He is a UK Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and a member of the Institute of Directors. He holds an engineering degree and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Dr. Naveen brings over 25 years of executive experience in global mining operations, commercial and commodity trading, acquisitions, mergers, and strategic development to AMMAN. He has held significant management roles across various industrial sectors.
Before joining AMMAN in 2016, Dr. Naveen served as CEO of RAK Minerals and Metals Investments FZC, United Arab Emirates, from 2007 to 2011, followed by a role as President Director of Trimex International Indonesia from 2012 to 2016. He holds a master's degree in chemistry and a doctorate from Jadavpur University, India. Dr. Naveen also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Dr. Naveen was appointed Director of AMMAN in February 2021.
