AMMAN and Communities Strengthen Collaboration to Support Safe and Sustainable Smelter Operations
West Sumbawa, 31 July 2026 – As part of its commitment to fostering synergy and open communication with local communities, PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN), one of Indonesia’s largest copper and gold mining companies, once again held a community engagement forum on 31 July 2026 in West Sumbawa. The dialogue session provided a platform for community members to obtain firsthand information about smelter operations while strengthening open and constructive communication between the company and the community.

Kartika Octaviana, Vice President of Corporate Communications at AMMAN, emphasized the importance of maintaining strong and harmonious relationships with local communities as an integral part of sustainable operations.

“This forum reflects AMMAN’s commitment to maintaining open and transparent dialogue with the community. During the forum, AMMAN shared updates on the progress of its smelter operations and highlighted the various measures undertaken to ensure that operations are conducted safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable regulations. The company also outlined its commitment to responsible environmental management and the implementation of regular monitoring activities in accordance with government standards and regulatory requirements.
