Jakarta, 16 June 2025 – PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (IDX: AMMN) (“AMMAN” or “the Company”) today announced the appointment of Mr. Arief Sidarto as President Director, effective immediately, following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Jakarta, Monday (16/6). He succeeds Mr. Alexander Ramlie, who steps down after nearly a decade of leadership since the company’s founding.
This leadership transition represents a strategic step as AMMAN-the largest copper and gold mining company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange-continues to strengthen its foundation for sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term positive impact.
Mr. Arief Sidarto has been a key member of AMMAN’s executive team for more than eight years, serving as Director of Finance. Prior to joining AMMAN, he served as the Managing Director and Board Member of Rajawali Corpora, an Indonesian conglomerate with diverse investments spanning mining, palm oil plantations, luxury hotels and properties, transportation, infrastructure and media; and led Goldman Sachs’ investmentbanking operations in Southeast Asia. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in finance and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude), and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
”I am honored and humbled to lead AMMAN into its next chapter of growth and transformation. What makes AMMAN truly exceptional is its people. We have a talented and resilient team, and together, I believe we will continue to grow with purpose and integrity—guided by our values: Stay Hungry, Stay Humble, Stay Human. I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our outgoing President Director, Mr. Alexander Ramlie, for his visionary leadership, pivotal and strategic decisions, and selfless dedication to AMMAN and its people,” said Mr. Sidarto.
As part of this leadership transition, Mr. Alexander Ramlie will continue to support the Company in his new role as a member of the Board of Commissioners, providing strategic oversight and ensure continuity in governance.
“From the beginning, AMMAN was envisioned as more than just a mining company; it was designed to place people at the center of everything we do, empowering them to create a sustainable and inclusive future. Over the past decade, I have had the profound privilege of leading this transformation, guiding AMMAN through a period of extraordinary growth, cultural renewal, and operational excellence. As I step down from my role as President Director, I do so with confidence in Arief’s leadership to carry this legacy forward, characterized by a clear purpose, and an unwavering commitment to our values. I look forward to continuing to support AMMAN’s long-term success as a member of the Board of Commissioners,” said Mr. Ramlie.
The AGMS also announced the appointment of Mr. Aditya Sasmito to AMMAN’s Board of Directors. He has served as a Director at AMMAN’s subsidiary, PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), since 2020, overseeing several critical support functions, including procurement, port and logistics, inventory and warehousing, and co-manages internal audit. Mr. Sasmito brings over twelve years of diverse experience as a consultant and banker, having advised clients across industries, such as mining, logistics, utilities, plantations, telecommunications, manufacturing, and banking.
This leadership transition is part of AMMAN’s long-term succession planning and will not affect ongoing operations or strategic direction. AMMAN remains focused on delivering value for stakeholders, empowering its workforce, and advancing sustainable development in Indonesia and beyond.
